Is a Flickr stream a blog?

I was just looking at the finalists for the 2007 SA Blog Awards and noticed that two of the finalists in the Best SA Photographic Blog category are Flickr streams, not blogs as I understand them.

    After polling a Flickr group I belong to, I’m convinced. The consensus was that a Flickr stream can be seen as a blog because to quote dopiaza, “A blog is simply a time-ordered series of posts. That’s exactly what the Flickr photostream is.”

    Some felt that it depended on the way that the owner used the Flickr stream, which I tend to agree with.
