I am almost through the first week of a weight loss plan that my wife and I are undertaking. So far it has been really easy for me. I am getting more than enough to eat and haven’t felt hungry at all. I have a long way to go, having to lose 66 kilograms, which they tell me will take about a year.
This is most of what I had for breakfast today. Cheese, onion, tomato, red pepper, kiwi fruit, nectarine you see here, and I also had one Ryvita biscuit and five almonds.

I am a member of UTATA and participated in their most recent project, focussing on nocturnal photography.
I took this last night for Utata’s nocturnal photography project. I used my Sigma 10-20mm lens, zooming out from 20mm to 10mm during a 6 second exposure.
This was taken at a rock festival, after dusk when it was already quite dark. This woman was behind me in the crowd on somebody’s shoulders. The shot was a handheld F4 1/2 second exposure at ISO1600 and was consequently quite noisy, so I had to reduce the noise as well as tweak the curves to get to the image you see here.
